The Cottages at Myrtle Beach is a new Carolina Forest community of homes being developed for lease only. This Carolina Forest new home community is in the early stages of development and is located near the intersection of International Drive and Highway 31, yet mostly accessible via the Town Centre Parkway off of the River Oaks Drive and International Drive intersection. This community is in close proximity to Ocean Bay Elementary and Ocean Bay Middle School as well as the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology, which is a branch school of the Horry County Schools system that has a focus on specific career majors and has qualifying status as a Blue Ribbon School.

The Cottages at Myrtle Beach offers both stand-alone cottage units and duplex/twin units. Pricing starts from about $1,500 per month for a 12 month lease.

As of August 2023, the first two phases of development have been completed and the third phase is just beginning. There will be a total of 249 units with development estimated to be completed by March 2024.
